WLD Prolong Cable is a non-sensitive cable for extending the length of a WLD zone in the Water Leak Detection system. It connects WLD sensing cables with the WLD device (WLD2, NB-WLD, SD-WLD, or WLD Relay 1W-UNI) and allows cost-effective design by combining sensing and non-sensing segments. Even with prolong cables, the system still detects water anywhere along the sensing cable — just a few drops are enough to trigger an alarm.
The prolong cable is part of the HWg Monitoring Ecosystem (sensors + devices + SensDesk Technology portal), providing reliable alerts, graphs, PDF reports, open API, and remote device management. The right water detection and early alerts are essential in many businesses, such as data centers, where timely notifications prevent costly damages.
