WLD-ECHO is a compact water leak detector for external sensing cables, designed to detect water anywhere along the full length of the cable. Even a few drops of conductive liquid can trigger an audible alarm and activate the relay output, helping to provide early warning before leaks cause serious damage.

WLD-ECHO supports up to 2 external WLD sensing cable zones, each with a maximum length of 185m. This makes it suitable for monitoring larger protected areas while allowing improved leak localisation. Zone 2 can also be disabled when not required.

Powered by either 2× AA batteries or an external 5–30V DC power supply, WLD-ECHO offers flexible installation in locations where mains power may not be convenient. It is ideal for use in data centers, server rooms, plant areas, and other technical environments where fast leak detection is essential.

The unit provides local warning through an audible alarm and visual LED indication for OK, Flood, and Disconnected states. It also detects disconnected or damaged sensing cables, increasing reliability and helping to ensure continuous protection.

With its dry-contact digital output relay, WLD-ECHO can be easily integrated into alarm, security, or building monitoring systems. This allows water detection events to be signalled externally for automated response or centralised monitoring.

WLD sensing cables detect liquid continuously along their entire length, offering much faster response than point sensors and making them ideal for protecting wide areas such as under floors, around cooling units, and along walls or pipe runs.
