Expander with 4× External Relay Outputs is designed to extend the functionality of Ares 12 by adding relay outputs that can be remotely controlled. Each relay output can be switched manually via SMS or through the SensDesk Technology portal, or automatically in response to alarms triggered by connected sensors. The module supports local control, making it useful for thermostat operation, switching backup systems, or activating optical/acoustic alarms. The expander uses low-power bistable relays to minimize energy consumption (refresh period 3s), though it is not suitable for mobile app usage.
